A 27-year-old man has been arrested after sexually assaulting a sleeping woman at a home in Somerset County last year, authorities said.

The woman said she fell asleep after drinking alcohol at a home in Franklin Township and later found Antonio Galindo-Salaza on top of her in a bedroom when she awakened, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office said Tuesday.

Salazar, of the Somerset section of Franklin, was arrested late last month and charged with sexual assault in connection with the June 20 incident, officials said. The woman reported the alleged assault on the same day it happened and an investigation was launched.
