The jackpot for Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot has increased to an estimated $31 million with a cash option of $16.6 million.
The winning numbers were: 9, 15, 46, 55 and 57. The Mega Ball drawn was 4, with a Megaplier of 2X.
No one across the country hit Friday’s $20 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million winners.
In New Jersey, six of the 14 tickets that matched four numbers were bought with the Megaplier option for an extra $1 and are worth $1,000. The other eight are valued at $500 each, lottery officials said
Friday’s winning numbers were: 1, 4, 50, 54 and 59. The Mega Ball drawn was 17, with a Megaplier of 2X.
The odds of a $2 ticket matching all the winning numbers are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million.
Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot has rolled back to an estimated $20 million with a cash option of $10.8 million after someone who bought a ticket in Washington state won Monday’s $754.6 million prize. It was the ninth largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history and fifth biggest Powerball prize.
